Raide Research is one of favourite new brands at Knees Up. Hailing from Colorado in the US. They focus on developing ergonomic and storage focussed products that both have incredible practical use but look fantastic. These TrailTech shorts have a unique storage system that utilises the under-liner where the pockets sit directly next to your skin, which reduces bounce and keeps your items secure. It comes with a 360ml Raide Hydrapak flask that is designed to fit neatly into one of the side pockets so you can access hydration whilst you run, without the need for a pack. This pocket is mirrored on the other leg and would be great for a phone or even another flask. On the back you have two smaller pockets that fit gels and finally a zipped pocket for important essentials you don't want to lose. The liner short beneath is slightly compressed and has rubber grippers on the leg opening that help to keep them in place. 

These shorts sit quite high-waisted and the waistband intentionally doesn't have loads of give so that once on, they don't fall down with the added weight of the items in the pockets. Take your usual size but those with wider hips may want to size up.
